GP Appointments

Face to Face Appointments

Face to face appointments are either 15 minutes or 30 minutes.

15 minute appointments are ideal for one medical problem. 15 minute appointments can also be made to discuss test results, a recent hospital attendance, to discuss medication and for follow upon ongoing issues.

30 minute appointments are ideal for one complex problem such as mental health, chronic disease or women’s health; OR two smaller problems.

Remote Appointments

Telephone and video appointments provide a convenient alternative to a face to face consultation, and can be used for a variety of medical problems. These are 15 minute appointments.

TELEPHONE appointments are PERFECT:
✳️ if you would like MEDICAL ADVICE
✳️ to REVIEW an ONGOING problem
✳️ for FOLLOW UP after a recent appointment/investigation
✳️ to arrange a PRESCRIPTION, which can be emailed to you or pharmacy

VIDEO appointments can be used for all of the above and are also HELPFUL to:

✳️ aid with diagnosis of skin or superficial problems

If during your tele/video appointment it is clear that you require a FACE to FACE app for an EXAMINATION, this can be arranged ✅️.

Booking Procedure

You can book an appointment HERE.

After booking you will be asked to complete a HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE that includes your medical history, current medications, allergies, your registered NHS GP and the medical problem you are presenting with. Please complete this before your appointment. This saves time during the consultation and helps Dr McCallum plan your consultation.

During booking you will also be asked to pay a £25 non-refundable deposit online. You can pay the remainder of the consultation fee at the end of your appointment.

Information about your consultation will be shared with your NHS GP, if your consent is given for this.
